Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Streamly, including our website and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Streamly is an independent personal watchlist and recommendation tool. We are not a streaming service and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any streaming service, network, or studio.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in some jurisdictions) to use the Service. By using Streamly, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond reasonable use.
- Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or designed to harass or defame.
5. Content & intellectual property
The Service and all materials on it โ except your watchlist and notes โ are owned by Streamly or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You retain ownership of your watchlist, notes, and other content you create on the Service. By submitting that content, you grant us a limited license to host and display it solely to provide the Service to you.
6. Third-party services
Streamly may reference third-party streaming services and content. All trademarks, service marks, and logos are the property of their respective owners. References to third-party services are for identification only and do not imply endorsement or partnership.
7. Pricing & subscriptions
If we offer paid plans, pricing will be clearly displayed before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and as required by applicable law.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Streamly and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service or other users.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in the United States, except where local law requires otherwise.
